Wow April was quite the busy month! I launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to coincide with April's Autism Awareness month. My main goal with the campaign was to help me accelerate my business, expand the awareness of my company and generate funding to start testing and designing new product ideas.
My fundraising goal was for $10,000 and just beat it with $10,471 raised! I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who supported my campaign. It was incredible to feel the support from family and friends who know me well, and even more from the families and people who I haven't met yet believe in my mission.
I have a total of 24 shirts being donated to Fraser and the Autism Society of Minnesota, they ended up tying the donation competition.
I was able to get press during my campaign so please check out my articles, podcast and youtube interviews below.
I attended Holland Center's Autism Un-Tapped event, networked at the MN OT happy hour, had a table at AuSM's Steps of Hope, a table at Fraser's Walk for Autism, a table at the Labor Health and Benefit Fair and donated shirts to silent auctions for Pacer and Lionsgate Academy. Needless to say I'm a little exhausted and energized all at the same time!
For the month of May I've been trying on my sample short sleeve shirt to make any adjustments to the pattern before getting it produced. I also have the Wolf graphic (designed by Haley Badenhop) being tested before production as well. My goal is get shirts produced and ready to ship out by the first week of July.
I can't thank you all enough for being early supporters. I am always open to feedback and ideas so please message me on my contact me page. I'm excited to get started on designing the next line of products, so stay tuned!
